Back in college, one of the topics that our professor taught us in computer techniques was how to edit photos. The whole topic was really interesting for me because I really did want to learn how to edit photographs and turn them into something else.

We were all not techies and we really had not much photo editing to do. We were communication and research students and we were not film students. That was perhaps the reason why instead of teaching us how to edit using the oh so popular Adobe Photoshop, we were taught how to edit photos using ULead.

At first I thought the whole experience would be like an elementary lesson where we would be taught things we already knew. But mind you, ULead really had a lot to offer and from that very simple software, we were able to create various of images. I can say that ULead is a software that is somewhere above MS Paint and is somewhere below Adobe Photoshop.

Using the whole software is fairly easy. You would not have a hard time finding what you want to do. There are fewer choices for you compared with Adobe Photoshop but for a beginner, ULead is going to be a good choice. I honestly still have trouble using Adobe Photoshop.

ULead may be one of the easiest software you can use to edit photos but there may be other software that are also easy to navigate. If you do know others, leave a comment and share it with me.
