So the first thing to do would be to choose which program would help you put that watermark on your photograph. Most photo editing software allow users to create that watermark.

Of course, you also would need to decide what kind of watermark you would like to put on your image. Watermarks could be your name, could be the year you took the photograph, or it could also be a symbol. Sometimes, it could be your website so that people would be encouraged to visit your site.

You could have your watermark to be translucent or you may have it be quite visible. Experts suggest a 50% tint so that it would be visible but it would not mark the entire image.
