The Kind of Images That You Can Take
So you own a camera. So you think that all it can do is to take pictures. But did you know that there are different types of images that you can take with your camera?
Yes, well, if you are dreaming of becoming a professional photographer, you may want to think about which of these types of images you may want to focus on. Or yet, you may want to discover how to do each one of these so you can be a photographer of all styles. Here are some samples.
Aerial photos. These are usually images taken while in the air - maybe from an airplane, a hot air balloon, or maybe even on top of a really tall building. They can be images of the land below or can be images of clouds or of birds on a flight. There are some photographers who also take aerial images using remote controlled airplanes.
Documentary images. Also known as photojournalism images, these are photographs that tell a story or document an event. These are usually the images used in newspapers or on online news sites. There are times that documentary images reflect the current situations of a society.
Close up images. Also termed as macro shots, this type of images are taken using a special kind of lens. These are often used when taking photographs of small objects, flowers, or insects.
People images. Examples of people images are graduation photographs and portraits.
Scientific images. Looking back at your biology books, the images you see showing the parts of a cell or how your skin tissue looks are all grand examples of scientific images.
