There is this thing called e-cash. It is a form of money in the sense that you can use it to purchase stuff. But other people may not think that it is money because you cannot see it and you cannot hold it. It remains in cyberspace and there it stays. But it can be transferred from one account to another - from yours to your friend’s, for example.
One of the famous companies who offer e-cash services is Globe Telecom and right now, they are teaming up Western Union. Together, they have this service called Mobile Money Transfer. If you are a consumer and you have some money in your Globe G-cash wallet, you can send it through Western Union to your family somewhere in the province. PayPal is slowly getting better here in the Philippines. I remember when I could get an account but I could not get any money sent to my account. Then, all PayPal account holders in the Philippines could be sent money and they could also get the money by using channels like Xoom or using the EON card with Unionbank. For Xoom, you had to pay some amount to get your cash while you have to shell out around 350php to get the EON card.
I am glad I did not get the EON card. See, PayPal now allows account holders here in the Philippines to get their cash sent directly to their banks. So if you do have a bank account, you could just transfer your PayPal cash to your Philippine bank account.

Back in college, one of the topics that our professor taught us in computer techniques was how to edit photos. The whole topic was really interesting for me because I really did want to learn how to edit photographs and turn them into something else.
We were all not techies and we really had not much photo editing to do. We were communication and research students and we were not film students. That was perhaps the reason why instead of teaching us how to edit using the oh so popular Adobe Photoshop, we were taught how to edit photos using ULead.

Sometimes, time just erases the energy in you so much so that you are left almost empty and with nothing to be happy about. This does go true for your hobbies as well. You may love basketball right now but you may think of it as yet another waste of time after some time.

I would be very surprised if you have not encountered all those sites claiming that you can make four digits per week and even make millions in a year. You may have encountered them while surfing the net or you may have found out about them via the e-mails that you may have been sent. But are they really for real?
It is important to note that being in the Philippines, we may have a harder time verifying which of these offers are real and which are just plain scams. In the United States, people can simply contact the Better Business Bureau and find out about these offers. On the other hand, we may have to take a few steps before we venture into a deal that are advertised as too good to be true offers.
