Oh Those Fireworks!

February 20th, 2008 By: atomicgirl | No Comments

Why do we love fireworks? Well, I can say that I do love fireworks because of their color - and not because of the sounds that they emit. I love them because they look nice to look at but I would rather just watch them than personally light one.

Try searching the Internet for photographs and images of fireworks and you would be given quite a display of results. It means that many people have tried to take images of these awesome wonders. And many have been successful enough to be proud of what they have taken. Others were in vain because they were not familiar with their cameras.

Around a year ago when my digital camera was still new, I had this habit of bringing my camera with me every time I went out of the house. I wanted to capture tons of images that I thought was interesting and would be a good subject. All I did was click away and never did I mind any elements that had an effect on the image. The photographs would be ready and then we would put them in albums. When there are visitors, you would proudly display your albums and let them browse through the lot while waiting for you or for whoever they are waiting for.

The Shirt For Couples

February 8th, 2008 By: atomicgirl | 83 Comments

When I was waiting for our very delayed flight back home with two colleagues two years back, we noticed lots of couples who looked Korean. I was thinking that they probably were some holiday package for couples. I counted over 10 couples at the airport.

What caught our attention was that each couple wore a unique shirt. Couple A wore printed red shirts. Couple B had purple and yellow shirts on. Couple C had white shirts with their names on it.
